crispy potato toast recipe is a simple and easy recipe that goes well as a breakfast dish or a tea time snack. this can also be a good option for kid’s tiffin boxes.

  • boiled potato - 2-3
  • onion - 1 (finely chopped)
  • bread slices - 5
  • tomato ketchup - 2 tbsp
  • red chilli powder - ½ tsp
  • cumin (jeera) powder - 1 tsp
  • garam masala - 1 tsp
  • mango (amchur) powder - 1 tsp
  • grated ginger - ½ tsp
  • green chillies - ½ tsp (finely chopped)
  • coriander leaves - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • sesame seeds - 1 tbsp
  • salt - to taste
  • butter - 2 tbsp
  1. for potato mixture, mash the potatoes and add onion, red chilli powder, cumin powder, garam masala, mango powder, grated ginger, chopped green chillies, chopped coriander leaves, salt and mix well.
  2. cut the bread slices diagonally in two pieces each.
  3. spread the tomato ketchup on one side of slice evenly.
  4. spread the prepared potato mixture on the top of ketchup.
  5. now sprinkle some sesame seeds on the top of potato mixture.
  6. take a tawa/non stick pan, evenly toast the prepared breads using butter on both the sides until potato toast become crisp and golden brown in colour.
  7. serve these hot crispy potato toast along with your favourite ketchup and chutney!!!!
