Ingredients

  • bread slice - 6
  • yogurt (dahi) - 1 cup
  • tamarind chutney (meethi saunth) – 3 tbsp
  • cashews (kaju) - 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • raisins (kishmish) - 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • almonds (badam) - 1 tbsp (chopped)
  • fresh coriander (hara dhaniya) - 1 tbsp (finely chopped)
  • chili powder - ¾ tsp
  • roasted cumin seeds powder (bhuna jeera) - ¾ tsp
  • black saltblack salt (kala namak) - ¼ tsp
  • salt - as per taste

Instructions

  • chop the cashews, almonds and keep aside.
  • take chilled yogurt in a bowl and whisk well until it become smooth.
  • now add black salt into yogurt and mix well.
  • take bread and cut it into circles with a sharp bowl, lid or any mould.
  • put the round bread on plate.
  • now sprinkle some raisins, chopped cashews and almonds over it.
  • cover it with other plain bread round slice.
  • drizzle yogurt over it to cover from all sides in proper quantity.
  • now drizzle some tamarind chutney.
  • sprinkle some chili powder,black salt, cumin powder and salt.
  • now sprinkle some finely chopped coriander leaves.
  • your fat free, lip smacking and yummy bread dahi vadas | bread dahi bhalle are ready and serve immediately.
