Firstly, take gram flour/besan in any bowl.
Further, add salt, turmeric powder, asafoetida, and red chili powder.
Additionally, add water little by little and prepare a batter.
Make sure the gram flour batter is not too drippy or too dense.
Further, heat oil in a Kadai/wok. The oil for frying bread pakoras should be aptly heated and keep the flame medium.
After that, cut the bread slices into four pieces, giving it a square shape.
Likewise, prepare all bread slices.
Further, drop a pinch of batter to check the temperature of the oil.
Dip the bread slices in the batter and put them into the hot oil for frying.
After that, fry it for a few seconds then gently flip it to fry the other side.
Fry it till it turns golden brown from both sides on medium heat.
Take out the bread fritters on the kitchen towel to absorb extra oil.
Similarly, prepare all bread pakoras.
Finally, hot and delicious bread fritters or bread bhajis are ready to be served.
Serve hot bread fritters or fried bread pakora with tomato ketchup and green chutney.
