Firstly, take a bowl and add sooji, curd, salt, and water to it. Mix them well and keep them aside for 20 minutes.
After 20 minutes, if the batter looks thick, then add a few tablespoons of water to get a medium consistency.
Further, make sure that the mixture should not either too thick or too thin.
Additionally, add 1 tbsp oil to it and mix well.
After that, take the Idli Stand and grease the moulds well using oil.
Now heat water in an electric cooker or pressure cooker.
It's time to add baking soda/eno to the sooji batter and mix well.
Let the water warm up. Meanwhile, pour the rava idli batter into Idli moulds carefully.
Further, place this Idli stand into an electric cooker or pressure cooker and cover the electric cooker with a lid or the pressure cooker with the lid without the whistle.
Steam for 12-15 minutes on medium heat.
Open the lid and check whether the idli is cooked properly from the inside. Now perform a toothpick/knife test. Insert a toothpick/knife in the center of the idli. If it comes out clean, your idlis are ready.
After that, remove the Idli Stand from the electric cooker or pressure cooker and let it cool down.
Further, take out each idli from the idli stand with the help of a spoon/knife and put them on a plate.
Finally, Soft, spongy, light, and airy Rava Idli is ready.
Serve this soft Rava Idli with Authentic Sambar and 3 types of Coconut Chutney.
