Firstly, heat 2 tbsp of ghee/oil in a wok or Kadai. When oil is hot, add cumin seeds into it and let them splutter for a few seconds.
Additionally, coriander powder, red chili powder, and green chili into it and saute them for a few seconds.
After sauteing the masala, now add boiled and chopped potatoes and salt into it.
Further, mix all the ingredients well.
Cook for about 3-4 minutes on low flame.
Now add fresh lemon juice and mix well.
Cook this on low flame for 2-3 minutes.
After that, add finely chopped coriander leaves and cook for a few seconds.
Switch off the flame.
Finally, hot and delicious jeera aloo for navratri upwaas / vrat is ready to be served.
Serve this vrat vale aloo with steaming hot kuttu paratha, or kuttu poori.
