Ingredients

  • Farfalle Pasta - 1 cup (Any shape pasta)
  • Onion - ½ cup (chopped)
  • Red Capsicum - ½ cup (chopped)
  • Green Capsicum - ½ cup (chopped)
  • Fresh Tomato Pulp - 1 cup
  • Ginger Garlic Paste - 1 ½ tsp
  • Tomato Sauce - 2 tbsp
  • Oregano - 1 tbsp
  • Red Chilli Flakes - 1 tbsp
  • Black Pepper Powder - ½ tsp
  • Salt - to taste
  • Olive Oil - 1 tbsp

  • Firstly, boil 6-7 cups of water in a deep pan.
  • Now add salt, oil and mix well.
  • After that, water comes to a boil then add the pasta.
  • Cook on a medium flame for 15-20 minutes or till the pasta is 90% cooked.
  • To check the pasta is cooked or not, press it with your hands. pasta has turned soft.
  • Strain the pasta in a sieve to drain the excess water.
  • Wash the pasta with cold water so that the cooking process is stopped and excess starch is removed.
  • Keep the boiled pasta aside.

  • Firstly, heat oil in a non-stick pan.
  • After that, add the chopped onion and let it cook for 2-3 minutes. cook till the onions is translucent.
  • Now add garlic paste, and cook for another 1-2 minutes.
  • Add tomato pulp to the above ingredients and let it cook for at least 4-5 minutes.
  • After that, add finely chopped capsicums. let them cook for 3-4 minutes.
  • Add the ketchup, dried oregano, black pepper powder, and red chilli flakes and stir well.
  • Further, add the cheese and salt and mix well.
  • Now add boiled farfalle pasta to the above mixture and mix well.
  • Mix well and cook for another 2-3 minutes.
  • Finally, Hot & delicious red sauce pasta or tomato sauce pasta is ready to be served.

Notes

You can add vegetables as per your choice like broccoli, zucchini, mushroom, corn in red sauce pasta.
