Ingredients
Kuttu Pakori / Kuttu Pakodi Ingredients:
3mediumPotatoes
1cupKuttu Flour / Singhara Atta
¼tspRed Chilli Powder(Optional)
¼tspBlack Pepper Powder
1tspGreen Chili(finely chopped)
½tspSendha Namak / Rock Salt(adjust as per taste)
½cupWater(as per requirement)
Oil for deep frying
Instructions
Firstly, peel the skin of the potatoes and cut them into thin pieces.
Secondly, rinse in water until the starch runs out clean. Drain the excess water from the potatoes in a strainer and take the potato pieces out to a mixing bowl.
Add kuttu atta, sendha namak, red chili powder, black pepper powder, and finely chopped green chili into the mixing bowl.
Add water to the bowl gradually and mix all the ingredients.
Heat enough oil in a Kadai/wok. Put the potatoes wrapped in the kuttu mixture into the oil and deep fry the kuttu pakori in oil.
Turn over the sides of the aloo kuttu pakodi and fry them till they turn brown.
Take out the Kuttu aloo pakodi on a plate.
Further, prepare all of the aloo kuttu pakori for navratri in this same manner.
Finally, hot and delicious Kuttu Pakodi for Navratri Fast is ready to be served.
Serve this crispy kuttu aloo pakori with Coriander Chutney, Imli Chutney, and curd on your Navratri fasting day.
Notes
You can also use singhara flour instead of kuttu atta.
If you want a more crisp texture then double fry the Kuttu Aloo Pakodi.
